@TheTechnoman55 Again, you fail to answer. Based on the nature of your comment, we can clearly conclude with that you lack the experience to talk. Dirt 2 use DX11, but close to no DX11 features. How you can increase graphics and fps at the same time? it’s called optimization my friend. DX9 is badly optimized, and does not even support the full advantage of SLI or CF scaling like DX10 or 11. DX10 is what DX9 should have been. DX11 is consisting of new technology that is still being tamed.
@TheTechnoman55 you obviously have never tried a DX11 card. Ever seen realtime tessellated water? multiple layer of tessellation like damage effects etc? seen heaven and what it does to the environment? Alone, DX11 increase performance over previous DX versions. this is proven. Blizzard is adding DX11 to wow’s new expansion. that alone increased the FPS by 10 on average, and they add DX11 water tessellation.. I think you haven’t noticed that GTX480 can render 2-billion polygons with 60fps. ow.
@stovnergutt Yea right HUGE difference, if you own a dx11 card you would know by now its just marketing bs and dx11 just makes games 20-30 fps slower depending on the resolution.I didnt buy a dx11 card so I could play games in dx11 but because new amd cards support eyefinity and its much faster than my old one, I play games in dx9 because dx11 is not even worth turning on.

Love the idiots who dont see a difference – just look at the crowds and its obviouse the tesselation there for example. Dx11 is far far better and it is hardly even used atm in any game other then unigine heaven demo.
@ZR0SuM Oh, come on.. just stop it, ok ? what changes ? some pixels are brighter on 1900×1200 resolution ? ) And for these three brighter pixels, wich are unnoticible we should pay extra 700 dollars ? )Maybe you are willing to do so, but I am not going to pay even a dollar untill I see the real changes, like in NVDIA demos.

@tutaberi100 The changes are harder to see in a fast paced racing game where detail is hard to see but youtube does take away visual quality even in 1080p.

@rico31595 Yeah… but there are bunch of guys who will tell you that you are moron, you suck etc. So many years of DX9, and still it is very solid. I have a HD5850 and I’m happy with my choice, but FOR NOW DX11 games are not looking as good as I expected.

Search for unigine 2 demo DX11 – tessalation is amazing, DX11 is what DX10 should of been. DX 10 sucked horribly, I reverted to dx9 but now I have a dx11 card it is 100% worth it.
@stovnergutt maybe you should have recorded directly rather than point a camera at your screen
@klote2314 DX11 has better bumb maps meaning if there was a rocky wall in DX9 it would be flat but in DX11 u can see it.
