Ahh….. frikkin a fronst side multiplier…
I OCed my AMD Athlon II X3 440 from 3.01 ghz to 3.3ghz and RAM to 880mhz instead of 800mhz! =D Thanks for the video! My PC is much faster.
@XLosSantosX yup yup you can by clearing the cmos. this is a button on the back of your motherboard, or if is an older one, itll be a jumper that you have to move over, which will remove any changes youve made in the bios
i like how he just throws to old mobo on the ground
@SomeGuyInWhite 1.52 CPU core, 1.375 CPU-NB, 1.36 NB
@asillynoob What kinda voltage are you using to keep it stable at 3.8?
If i change something can i somehow change it everything back to stock settings later?
you sure do like the word "frickin"
@3168000 yeah you can
I think you forgot that Intel’s X58 series came out in Late ’08.
These vids are in very late ’09.
The newer Intel based mobo’s use the base clock method.
is a ASUS M4A785-M a old mobo??
OMG at the beggingin how did u turn your lights on? mine are always on and sometimes it gets annoying. wat did u use?
the thing i hate is that almost everyone’s bios are different so i never fully know what to do…. >:l
can i overclock with a asus ASUS M4A785-M motherboard and a AMD Athlon II X4 635 Quad Core
@TheRiceburna I’m actually using a GA-MA770-UD3 now with a 955 C3 @ 3.8
but the video was done with a 720 C2
this is great!
u got the exact same mobo as me. =) what cpu r u using?
@dragefyr But it’s always nice… 3.0 GDz or 4 GHz(stable)? It’s an obvious choice
I don’t know if this will help anybody else, but with some motherboards, particularly Gigabyte’s, you will need to hit Ctrl+F1 to show the "Advanced Chipset Features" section.
my bios is small and it does have that and i thinks it suck…. motherboard is geforce 6100 mp is it gud
@Gamerguyscom depends on the motherboard and make. Mine is a Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 and it is the delete button
Most high end boards use the delete button, it’s pretty standard
wait how do I get to the bios?
If mine crash i have boot fail guard it restore evreything automatic
=D
Great vid man, u’ve learned me alot about overklocking. Did my first overklock resently from 2.5 to 3.0 ghz, and its running stable
