Nice video. I have a q6600 I also have the same mobo as you the x38 p5e and I had a few questions I was wondering if you could answer. I have my cpu at 3ghz I used to have it at 3.4 but when I would pop the case and put my hand on the northbridge it would be really hot and putting it to 3.0 under load it wouldn’t be nearly as hot to the touch. My question is should I put voltages on auto? Or is setting them manually better? Also why is it important to turn off everything in cpu config in bios?

@paul41770 Your motherboard well work just fine. I would upgrade your hard drive to a SSD they make a huge difference( you well feel like your on a 3 thousand dollar computer it would be that fast) Also in the future i would upgrade your ram to 4 or 8gb.. You should not run windows 7 64bit on 2gb of ram; I would run 32bit it would run smoother.

  17. DetroitPC313 says:

@PcGamerPaul Yes with no problem just try and keep the voltages as low as possible this way it does not get to hot. If your not going to mess around with the Voltages then just leave it on auto you well be fine 100%
