@Tsubanosa Hi mate, there are plenty of CPU Coolers out there, but i would recommend the, "Noctua NH-U12P SE2", I have used this is the past, and found it to be extremely good.
If however you plan to take your Overclocking to the extreme i would highly recommend Water Cooler.

Just got one these…glad to see that mine is lower in temps….idling at 24c.
Full load only goes to 40c.
A decent HSF goes a long way.
I am a retired engineer. Just bought an I7 950 for a HTPC build which will also be used for some serious fsx sim add ons. Impressed with your presentation – gentle in a technnical sense but very worthwhile for those who like jargon free information. I use all the overclocking aids wish I’d seen this when I started at 59 !! VERY GOOD and useful WellDone.
hi im planning to buy this i7 950 and OC it to 4.0ghz. any recommendation on the cooler.. i was thinking of v8, v6,gt or thors hammer.. which would you prefer? and 4.0ghz stable? its my first time to overclock and am a bit nervous on this so i dont want my cpu life to shorten just for the speed TIA
