    @asus3571 hmm Iguess if thats what you got then thats what it should be but from what I googled and know vdroop is what i stated but either way ha whatever works

    @asus3571 Yea im pretty sure that vdroop is a little different than load line calibration. load line calibration keeps your voltages at the same voltage no matter what the CPU usage. With vdroop your voltage drops when CPU usage goes up hence vdroop so when you turn vdroop off and you use you CPU heavily there is no drop in voltage in some cases it rises. So for overclocking you want this so you can have a stable OC without pushing a ton of juice to your CPU to make up for vdroop

    my understanding of vdroop is the same with loadline calibration on the gigabyte boards it improves voltage drop directly i know for me anyways i need with loadline calibration on atandard if in the bios i set my vcore to lets say 1.2 when in windows cpu-z says 1.1 if i set loadline to level1then its identical to what i set in the biosthats for me anyways if i want my 920 to 4.0 with loadline standard at 1.25 it wont boot but at the same vcore with a level1 setting its post fine who knows?

    @asus3571 With vroop off you get more of a steady voltage when using your CPU@ 100% so if I had it enabled my vcore would drop below what I had it set at. Yea when im just at 4.0 I can use a really low vcore but at 4.2 it requires decent voltage jump! just the same as my 920, but I figure hey they’re rated to 1.375ish and even if it degrades the life it’ll be outed by the time it dies!

    @Skunk2K20 tis working now ? 4 ya about the vdrop setting on that board i have an i7930 on it running at just under 4.0 i think you can lower the vcore slightly if you enable it im at 1.2 fully stable is there a particcular reason you have vdroop off
