Hey im having probems. I recently rooted my phone and have Cyanogen Mod 6.0 RC2 on it, now im trying to install the Kernels. But every time i install and check about phone info it still says the regular Kerenel that my phone initially came with. Tried P3droid Kerenel for 2.2 froyo but still nothing. I don’t know if its blocked on my phone or something.

Question not related to this, when I have a ROM installed already. I’m on NexBeast v1.1 and like I installed a Kernel from P3Droid, I went into ROM Manager and then clicked Install ROM from SD Card and then clicked on the file. Then booted into recovery mode. I’m backing my ROM up now before the installation, is that how I can do it? Does it let me set it higher in SetCPU now? Thanks

  12. MapleSh0sh0 says:

Do you have to do the custom ROM part? Or can we just skip that whole part and get into the overclocking part?

  13. tybittz says:

but you don’t need the rom to do this, right??
