@pokemaughan already have lol, first few tries bricked my phone (thank god for motorola software) and now it jsut keeps it from booting. it is sad day

you seem intelegent, can you help me install the evilboot images for my phone. every time i try to install the oc kernal patches my phone wont boot up (doesnt go past the motorola logo) rooted droid 2.1 (i dont want to install any custom roms or anything)
when i type su into the console i receive a permission denied error
@pokemaughan damn, that sucks. yea i just got my droid this week. its kinda been a pain rooting it tho as it already has 2.1, so i have to downgrade it to 2.0.1 apparently, then root it to 2.1…

BTW im unable to get my SD card to read (windows 7, 64 bit). installed moto’s drivers, but when i click on "removable storage" i get "please insert disk"
