    @adamjamesroe Are you really still going with this? It’s not going anywhere.

  2. adamjamesroe says:

    @naka538 GTX 470 Tri SLI would not work very well on this Mobo, bandwith isnt great. X16/X16/X1 or X16/X8/X8.

  3. Vortex1988 says:

    @NA8Clubman You do know that unless you’re overclocking that 5970 that the 5870 is going to be underclocked, right?

  4. FantasyX3I says:

    Piece of advice never buy a new hardware if it doesn’t give double the efficiency of your old hardware

  5. hunterto99 says:

    @naka538 There’s no good time to build a computer.

  6. naka538 says:

    @adamjamesroe Yeah.. wait until the 6970 comes out. And by the way, the 6870 beats the 5850. And crossfire is amazing.

  7. adamjamesroe says:

    @naka538 the new 6XXX series cards are shocking, a HD 5850 outperforms the ones released so far.

  8. erpi222 says:

    Don’t your cards get really hot when you xfire them like that? I mean isn’t it better to use the 3rd pcie slot and the first instead and get a 10cm xfire bridge connector instead?

  9. ManiacalMarlboroMan says:

    what song?

  10. MiniExtreme says:

    didnt even no u could do crossfire with two different graphics cards before lol ive never seen it interesting build =)

  11. crziazn says:

    O yeah, my current build is:
    MSI-890FXA-GD70
    XFX 5870 1gb
    AMD-Phenom II X4 965 B.E. @ 3.8GHz
    4GB G.Skill 7-8-7-24 @ 1600mz

  12. crziazn says:

    Nice rig dude! Love it! How is the performance with Eyefinty 3-monitors?? I’am very interested in this build for Eyefinity 5870 + 5970

  13. NA8Clubman says:

    @naka538

    The trifire setup has been working fine for me so far, the reason I went Trifire was because I already had a 5870, and managed to pickup a second hand 5970 very cheap. I know about the new 6 series cards coming out, which is why this setup is only temporary. I will be getting a few new ATI cards when they are released here in Aus.

  14. naka538 says:

    5970+5870 trifire isn’t effective, gtx 470 in TRI SLI would have been cheaper and better, thanks to SLI scaling

    Plus, this is a terrible time to build a rig like this. If you would have just waited until mid-october you could have gotten the new 6XXX graphics cards.

  15. BasicUnderscore says:

    you should do a tutorial on how you overclocked your rig, i almost have the same set up and i want to get a stable overclock like yours

  16. KTCRITCH says:

    Absolutely love the rig. You obviously know what you’re doing.

  17. NA8Clubman says:

    @Wuzimodo

    Thanks man,

    It was a fair bit all up, but I have been doing it all slowly, that way doesn’t hit me in the pocket as noticeably. lol

  18. NA8Clubman says:

    @atjston

    You sir have won one Internets, congrats… :)

  19. atjston says:
