@Silviu941 you cant overclock notebooks. they already run hot out of the box. it will just fry your motherboard.

Most of the time you can remove the battery or use the jumper to reset CMOS. Chances are your computer might still work.

It increases the performance of your PC. You increase the FSB/CPU Frequency/Voltages/ etc. You always increase the chances of destroying your hardware if improperly overclocked. It has never happened to me. Overclocking also causes more heat and instability which is not good. I raised my AMD Athlon X2 3800+ to 2.2 GHZ and everything ran about the same as when it was stock. Unless you get a really good system overclocking cheap stuff isn’t worth it.
