    @THEANTvids4u

    Run for around 8 hours if you want to make sure that it is completely stable. If you get no errors, then it’s completely stable.

    Hi pcwizkid could tell me how long do you recommend to stree test for? I was hoping this would have been mentioned in your video. Many thanks ;)

    The speed fan thing says 62c on the first tab when i open up the screen. Is that 62 degree Celsius?!

  4. THEANTvids4u says:

    Another Question – I’m still a newbie at this pc building stuff, how long do you recommend using a stress test for? Do you run it until there is an error and then change settings. Thanks Again.

  5. FragOutxX says:

    @THEANTvids4u no not really. AMD got one of their CPUs to 7 ghz using liquid helium :)

    Is it possible to make PC parts, such as RAM Memory, CPU, Motherboards, Hard Drives etc. too cold? I want to know because i was wondering if i could get a very powerful cooling system, and then have the capability to upgrade parts and (if i finally understand it) overclock my CPU.

    u rock :)

    How overclock E8200@3600-3800 with P5QC motherboard & 2x2Gb ddr3-1066 ,i can*t do more E8200@3200 400×8

    I have a core 2 duo e6750 and i overclcoked it to 3 ghz with the stock fan. I ran prime 95 for 24 hours without an error. Incredible. and this dude explains how to overclock really badly. does anybody know what the max temp should be for this cpu.

    what is the RivaTuner for?

  11. 1AppleMaker says:

    I like the way my new Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 functions without overclocking. I will if I have to. But I am not sacrificing voltages if I don’t need to.

    And also, PcWizKid, your +12V rail looks way to low!!! 9.15V is too low for the operating system to operate!!!!!!

  12. lukie254 says:

    I didnt dare to do it untill today. Just know your limits and if you go to far and you cant open your bios options, wait an hour or so go back and it should work. Then put it back a bit

  13. hackers09fr says:

    i dare not to overclock at all…

  14. AMVDawg says:

    @zver711 try increasing the voltage.

  15. RoCRoikar says:

    @N00bGeek95 if u wanna test ur ram than do MEM test

  16. xMExHKSx says:

    LOL. I am using stock cooling with stock clock with my i7 860. I use OCCT and run the test. At about 2mins or so, i failed the test. Which is around 81degrees Celcius. LOL. Stock cooling fails…. BIG TIME.

    pcwizkid is 99Oc a good tempature for a laptop not even over clocked or doneany mods 2 it

    Thank you for taking the time to answer me. I have an Core 2 Quad with a mild overclock of 3GHz and its running at 41c. So I guess I’m good where I’m at. Thanks again :)

    Almost forgot, Prime95 gave me errors as soon as I started testing my 3.5 Ghz, 1400 Mhz FSB set up, voltage on Auto, I think it was 1.4ish.

    I mean my Windows 7 Ultimate using 20% (about 1.9 GB) of RAM on idle. My EVGA GTX 280 FTW is taking care of my gaming. Not sure I want to OC it, since it handles all well, runs about 48-52 C on idle. Maybe I’ll get a PCI slot fan or two to pull some air off, I installed one for a friend in Antec Sonata III case and his GTX 285 got much cooler. In any case I didn’t leave my CPU on 3.5 Ghz, since the difference b/w it and 3.33 Ghz cost me about 10 C difference more. Raised VGA temps 5C also.

  21. zver711 says:

    After watching your vids I tried going to different forums to find out dirt on my CPU. I mean it DID come out 2 years ago. So I raised the multiplier to 11 – BSOD. Then left multiplier at 10x and raised FSB from 1333 to 1400, making CPU run at 3.5 Ghz instead of 3.0. Also my memory is 1600@9-9-9-24-2T@1.8V, and since the FSB of the CPU is 1333 originally I had to Unlink it. I just set the mem to the factory settings and dont know much what to do with it, I have 8 GB and Im not sure Im using it.

  22. zver711 says:

    Actually those temps not really accurate. its not the CPU temp showing but the Core 0, say its 40 C right now on RealTemp. My EVEREST Ultimate Engineer Edition v4.60.1578 Portable shows the CPU temp is 45C, and I just turned on the PC in the morning, and it feels like 60 C in the room. Right now I do OC but its very little, for that processor overclockers call it a "free OC". Changed multiplier from 9 to 10, got instant 3.33 Ghz from 3.0 and that’s it, nothing else.

  23. PCWizKid says:

    @zver711, those temps are fine. Are you overclocking at all?

  24. zver711 says:

    I have a Core 2 Extreme QX 6850 CPU, in CM HAF 932 case with CM V8 cooler. I’m a bit worried since Real Temp always showing my temps around 39-45 C (I moved multiplier from 9 to 10 but didn’t see any difference in temps). I have removed V8, tried the stock fan – temps went up. Put the CM V8 back – no result. Torture tested with Prime95 and OCCT for 8-12 hours with no apparent errors but I still worry about my temps. Should I? I have some experience in system building but I appreciate advise.
