Hey thanks for the advice on all this. Just got done with my rig here. That m4 evo is sweet. and also for pointing out that 125w phenom. this thing is a monster! lol
Sure thing, thanks for watching!
I have been building a lot of awesome AMD systems, wish I had the time to make user videos of the systems I have been building, soon, I will have some more vids.
@realgadgetreviews Thank you SOOooo much! just needed a second opinion to get me over the hump.
thanks for that extra info and was defiantly looking at the 965 but wasn’t aware that there were two.
ASUS M4 EVO – good board – newegg has it for 91 dollars right now!!!
Crossfire support – fully loaded, cant go wrong – and you can buy the AMD Quad 965 with stock clock of 3.4!
Make sure to get the AMD 965 with a 125 Watt rating – there are 2, and the newer one is 125, while the older one is 140 watts…
Good luck! Thanks for watching!
Im building my first rig here and I am hoping someone could give me helping comment.
I’m stuck between two motherboards the ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO and the ASUS Crossfire III.
I like the EVO because it has room for expansion. The crossfire was the first board i looked at.
Not looking for extreme graphics here. I just want a lot of cpu. I do a lot of audio work. thx
sure thing. let me know if you have any questions. mike
thanks mike
Oh nice, thaught it was a stock cooler and u were overclockin ur cpu and im like wooh not a good idea, least from my expierences. I have the Coolermaster V8 and to be frank its a bit over rated. Its exelent cooler just not as good as they say but deffi worth the money, I have the 9800GT Akimbo 1GB in 2 way sli, not the best but gets the job done, and u can overclock it but if you do the only game you cant play is crysis. always crashes if my gpu is overclocked.
anyways thanks

Hi – The CPU cooler is not the stock cooler – in this video I use the "Blue Orb 2" CPU cooler. It is a great cooler, but there are even better coolers like; "Cooler Master V8" – or "Scythe Ninja" or "Scythe Mungen-2" as well as a lot more…
For this video I was using the EVGA’s Nvidia Geforce GTX 280FTW Edition. The For The Win (FTW) edition is the highest factory clocked graphics card from EVGA for the 280 cards – and is very fast with a factory overclock – but you can overclock stock GPU
Hey i have 2 questions about your computer, just currious if you are using the stock cpu heatsink and what graphics card you are using
you should make a vid of you building a computer
Thank you for that! I have a few videos in the works!
Your videos are good and VERY informative. Thanks keep it up…..
nice and helpful basic video! could be a little shorter though
Dig the monitor, I think I have the same one. Is it the 23" 1080p?
Great Video – I am gona OC my new system!
Your video was very helpful and straight forward. Your camera must be really nice, The video quality is great. Thanks for recommending those programs.
Hey – I sent U an e-mail with my new number.
Dude, I found you buy accident on the net. Tried calling but the Nr is disconected. Any I7 system available?
Nice video, very comprohensive and nice rig in the background by the way, did the parts get angry or excited and eat their own case? lol
I have run some of my older systems like that when I was testing stuff, Phone Book FTW!!!
cool thanx for not taking it the wrong way
I should have a lot more videos coming to you very soon, including a vid that covers the concepts of overclocking, a video that shows all the parts of the computer separate – and I will build a system live for ppl to follow along and get a better idea of the steps and sequence involved in building a system, from light gaming system to uber high end OCed beast! So – stay tuned! Mike
