janmartin94: you wil clock you cpu to moore MHz or GHz, things will go much faster while overclocking example to 1 GHz moore than normal.

But its important to have a lot of air in you computer while overclocking;)

@sgtMustang: i7 965 has a clock speed of 3.2GHz, but it’s not only about the clock speed, there are so many things that count when talking of performance.

  16. SgtMustang says:

The i7 processor has a lower clock speed than the Core 2 on the XPS 630. The Core 2 has 3 ghz but the i7 has like 2.6 ghz, yet its much more expensive.

  17. janmartin94 says:

does this do anything to the performance when playing a game? :S sorry i’m a n00b! lol

  21. NeilAlwaysWins says:

630 is better in my opinion. The 730 doesn’t give you what you should pay for for a high end machine.

  22. jaode says:

Better processor and you can have greater performance on the CPU.

  23. firedudejklef says:

what is the difference between the xps 630 and 730?

  24. qv76 says:

Working for dell and working around computers is way funnier than bagging peoples groceries. You decide.
