The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!
Series of tests using Prime95 to see how well my Corsair H70 CPU cooler deals with overclocking. The system is a i7 950 on a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R mobo, 12gigs ram, SSD main HDD and a EVGA GTX 580 video card on a 750 watt PS.

I personally wouldn’t as at stock speed under 100% load benchmarks it already was going well over 80C for me. Yours maybe different but imo I would not run a CPU full time over 80C, 85C+ and your asking for trouble imo.
Is it safe to Turbo overclock with the fan that comes with the i7-950?
