Check out this *secret* site where it’ll show you a cool trick that actually TRIPLES your PC’s performance… Plus tons more!

The Ultimate CPU Overclocking Guide!

In this video, I answer a question from Promzy from youtube who asks "what is overclocking, what good does it do for your pc or laptop. And how do you do it?" Thanks for the question Promzy. The wikipedia definition of Overclocking is here en.wikipedia.org . Ill try to keep it as general as possible. "Overclocking is the process of running a computer component at a higher clock rate (more clock cycles per second) than it was designed for or was specified by the manufacturer, usually practiced by enthusiasts seeking an increase in the performance of their computers." You can think of Overclocking as a turbo charger for your computer. Theres a lot to this topic so watch the video for more on it.

Thanks a lot for this video. As funny as it sounds I’ve actually overclocked my Phenom II with a program my msi mobo came with and didn’t have a total understanding of what I was dong. I understood what the outcome would be but to be honest I had no idea what caused the higher clock speed. Thanks a lot. [:

Overclocking computers are just like supping up cars except for nerds. It’s usually done by testosterone filled young guys who think they’re getting something for nothing. In the long run they can lose money because of shortened CPU life. A CPU should last years and years at about the same speed.
