Também pode-se tentar fazer overclock com o painel de controle da Nvidia. tenho um video sobre isso
eu tenho uma geforce 7050 e não aparece o butão customize junto ao ForceWare.

achei ela meio esquentadinha para uma 8400GS, mas ainda está dentro do "normal" para placas de video (isso se a temperatura foi registrada durante/logo depois de algum jogo pesado, caso contrario tem algo errado).
No seu caso não recomendo fazer overclock.
Ei cara, tenho uma 8400GS sem overclock, e a todo instante só fica a 74°, as vezes pula pra 75° ou 76° mas só nisso. É normal?
Por causa dessa temperatura é perigoso fazer OC nela?
